A room with a purpose
Living room
A place to gather, not just a place for the sofa.

Start with what matters.
- Anchor seating with a rug large enough to connect the front legs of the main pieces.
- Arrange seats toward one another and keep a comfortable, unobstructed route through the room.
- Put a surface and a reading light within reach of the seats you use most.
- Layer one soft textile, one personal object, and art that relates to the furniture below.
A common trap
Do not push every piece against the walls by default. Test a small move inward before adding more furniture.
For any rental, check your lease before drilling or changing fixtures. Use suitable fixings, respect load limits, and secure furniture or mirrors that could tip.
